About This Unit

This sunny home is located at the corner of 7th Avenue and Oak Street, just across the river from downtown Ouray. If you like to walk, you can leave the car parked and be on Main Street in downtown in about 5 minutes, or you can walk to the Hot Springs Pool via Oak Street in less than 15 minutes.

704 Oak Street can sleep up to 4 people in two bedrooms, one with a king and one with a queen. There is one bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The living room is bright and airy, with loads of windows to let in the sun and provide mountain views. There is plenty of room to park your cars, trucks, and trailers with off-road vehicles.

There is WiFi, satellite TV, a washer and dryer, and a gas grill for cooking out. This affordable home has everything that you need to make a home while visiting our beautiful city of Ouray and enjoying the majestic mountains that surround it!

ADVANCE DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT POLICY: All reservations require an advance deposit equal to 50% of the total cost of each reservation at the time the reservation is made, payable by credit card. Guest will receive a reservation confirmation and guest statement within 24 hours of booking and paying the deposit. The final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival date. Preferred method of payment is credit card. To make final payments, Guest will receive a final payment reminder with instructions to pay the balance online. Guest may also contact OVR by phone with credit card information, or may notify OVR by email to use the same credit card that was used for the deposit. Upon payment of final balance, Guest will receive a guest statement within 24 hours of payment, and a welcome letter with check-in information (to include after-hours check-in)approximately 10 days prior to arrival date.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: All cancellations must be received in writing and are subject to the following conditions: Cancellations at least 61 days prior to arrival date are entitled to a full refund, minus a $100.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations 60 days or less prior to arrival date result in forfeiture of all monies paid. Failure to pay final payment in the allotted time will result in a cancellation of the reservation, and forfeiture of deposit.

We LOVED the property.  It was spacious and comfortable.   We wish we could've been able to open the upper windows in the living area to help pull air through.  That would've allowed us more comfort to sleep in the king bed  Or that the AC unit was in the room with the king size bed.   The lifesaver was the small AC unit, it just wasn't in with the larger bed and the ceiling fans were a great help.   We hope to stay there again.   The most exciting part was the black bear at our front door the first evening we were there.  He was beautiful.....at a distance.  🙂   Bill R.

We had a great stay at the 704 Oak St. unit.  It was large, warm and comfortable.  We loved the large windows.  And the large couch and tv were nice too.  The bedroom up front was the best to use so we didn’t hear the boiler as much.  Although the kitchen was real nice, it wasn’t decked out with as many of the usual kitchen items that we’ve seen in other units.  The place looked like it had been recently retrofitted and was very nice overall.  We could have used some coat hooks.  These are minor things really, the place was great.  Last year we stayed at the 310 6th Ave loft and we actually liked it a little better, it had a comfortable living area, bedrooms, and fully loaded kitchen.
