THIS HOME IS AVAILABLE FOR 30-DAY STAYS OR LONGER ONLY, due to City of Ouray zoning regulations (so sorry, there can be no negotiation on this).
Artists and novelists, this would be the perfect getaway place to inspire your next creation! This home is owned by a well-known photographer, whose own works of art and other inspirational pieces by others are on display throughout!
Originally built in 1900, the Cook Home has been renovated to combine its historic elements with modern amenities like a deep, roomy tub in the master bath and clear glass walk-in showers in both the master and guest baths.
Flowers galore adorn the large deck above the garage during the summer months, and the deer frequent the yard right outside the living room and kitchen windows year-round.
The main level of the home includes a spacious, modern kitchen with coffee bar, gas stove, and double ovens, work area with WiFi, dining room, large living room with satellite TV, and full bath.
Upstairs are two bedrooms -- a master with queen bed and its own marvelous spa-type bath (no jetted tub), and a guest room with queen bed and access to the deck above the garage.
The home has a 2-car garage, but one of the owners' cars would be stored there, leaving one space for guests.
This is a non-smoking property.
No children or pets, please.
