About This Unit

The Uptown Loft is a nice "above the store" apartment/condo in downtown Ouray. Located near the intersection of 6th Avenue and Main Street, it is easy to just park the car and walk to everything in town. It has beautiful mountain views from the windows. The condo has been recently renovated with a private entrance from the street, two bedrooms (one with a king bed, one with a queen), skylights, a bath with combination tub and shower, and updated stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. There is a window air-conditioning unit on the sunny side of the Uptown Loft.

The living room has a large, flat screen TV and DVD player. There is also free WiFi.

ADVANCE DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT POLICY: All reservations require an advance deposit equal to 50% of the total cost of each reservation at the time the reservation is made, payable by credit card. Guest will receive a reservation confirmation and guest statement within 24 hours of booking and paying the deposit. The final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival date. Preferred method of payment is credit card. To make final payments, Guest will receive a final payment reminder with instructions to pay the balance online. Guest may also contact OVR by phone with credit card information, or may notify OVR by email to use the same credit card that was used for the deposit. Upon payment of final balance, Guest will receive a guest statement within 24 hours of payment, and a welcome letter with check-in information (to include after-hours check-in)approximately 10 days prior to arrival date.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: All cancellations must be received in writing and are subject to the following conditions: Cancellations at least 61 days prior to arrival date are entitled to a full refund, minus a $100.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations 60 days or less prior to arrival date result in forfeiture of all monies paid. Failure to pay final payment in the allotted time will result in a cancellation of the reservation, and forfeiture of deposit.

Great location, perfect for a couple or small family, probably a bit tight for 4 adults. My wife and I stayed here in mid-August 2016 for a couple of nights. The loft is located about a half block off of 550 (Main St.) and is sandwiched between the brewery (sweet) and the police and fire station. There place was well appointed with two bedrooms and one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and small dining area and living room. It would be a bit tight for four adults due to having just one bathroom, but I think would be great for small family. It was perfect for the two of us. Having the brewery next door was great and we spent a good bit of time there, but you could literally crawl out the bedroom window and onto their rooftop deck, so noise was a bit of an issue before closing time (9 PM). We ended up staying in the smaller of the bedrooms so that we were a bit removed from the window as the cleanup went on until about 10:30, and we're early risers. We had one small maintenance issue (slow drain in the tub) that the listing agency took care of immediately for us. They were great to work with. We would definitely stay there again. Andrew C.

We stayed here 20-26 December. The place was extremely clean, quiet and very comfortable. The location is walking distance to everything and there was literally nothing that could have made this place better. We could have easily had 4 -5 people here without any issues. We loved our recent stay in this loft. It was very clean, comfortable and modern with lots of room. I would much rather stay here than in a hotel room. It is in a great location right by the Ouray Brewing Company. There is some noise in one bedroom as it is next to the upper dining area of the brewing company. The only negative was that it stayed fairly warm in the loft and there are not any screens on the front windows so you can't leave the windows open all night to get some fresh air. I would most definitely stay here again. Angie W.
